This is Nachi & Alagu, good friends of ours who celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary a few Saturday nights back.
The do was actually a surprise party Alagu threw for Nachi at El Salvador, in Damansara Heights.
Boy was he surprised!
They walked in to red heart-shaped ballons everywhere and 8 of their closest friends shouting SURPRISE!! All Alagu's careful planning.
It was a fun night, lots of drink and food and merriment! We reminisced about Nachi's sudden, out of the blue announcement over a year ago, that he was to be wed, through a traditional Chettiar arranged marriage, to a girl from India he'd only met once, and whom we'd never even heard about before! We thought he was going nuts! Hahaha..
And then after the wedding, when Nachi first proudly introduced to his new bride and we all TOTALLY went crazy for Alagu too!
Truly, Nachi & Alagu, you guys are a match made in heaven! It's awesome to watch you two together. Here's to many, many more crazy, noisy wedding anniversay parties!
